Kindersley’s Chamber of Commerce is putting on the 44th annual Goose Festival starting today with a lunch at the Masonic Hall.
The Kindersley Mall is holding a craft and vendor show today from noon until 9:00pm, and continues on Friday from 9:30 am until 9:00 pm. and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 6:00 pm.
Tonight’s festivities begin with the great egg drop at the downtown stage beside Supreme Source for Sports at 5 pm. Following the egg drop will be the annual pie eating, goose plucking, and potato peeling contests.

On Friday sports fans can see the Kindersley Kobras face Unity at 6:30 PM under the lights at Flanagan Park, and The Klippers will take on the Bruins at 7:30 PM at West Central Events Center. The Heavy Horse Pull happens by Peavey Mart at 6:00 pm on Friday, and will be back on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
The karaoke contest will be back at the Kindersley Mall on Friday from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm, and Saturday from 2-4 pm!

On Saturday morning the annual Goose Fest parade will take place downtown from 11:00 am until Noon. After the parade are antique car and motorcycle show & shines. “Men Without Shame” will perform live during the Goose Festival Dance to end off the Saturday.

The festival finishes on Sunday with a pancake breakfast, RC plane flying, and skeet shooting.
