It's into the playoffs now for nearly every local AA league in the area. Some teams are done hockey for the year, while others are still chasing the trophy.

There is some action on across local rinks this weekend. The U18 West Central Wheat Kings are down 1-0 in their series against Prince Albert, and will need a win to keep their season alive when the Timberwolves travel to Unity on Friday, puck drop at 8:30. The U18 Western Prairie Thunder are in a similar position, as they will host their opponents from Prince Albert on Friday. Currently down in the series 1-0, that game will be played at 8:00 PM from the Dodsland Sports Centre.
