Volleyball is beginning to wrap up in the province as the Boys conference tournaments were held last weekend with West Central teams in action.
In 1A conference playoffs Perdue hosted the tournament with Beechy heading there to play along with teams from Langham, Colonsay, and the host Perdue. Beechy could not win a game, however, and were not able to move on to regionals this weekend.


In 2A conference play, two teams from the West Central area are moving on to regionals. Conferences were held in Hazlet with the top 2 teams heading to regionals. McLurg from Wilkie and the Leader boys team will be moving on to Thunderchild this weekend. One other team from the West Central region was there, and Biggar could not pull off a win and were unable to move on.


And in 3A conference playoffs, two teams were able to move to regionals this weekend. Rosetown hosted the tournament and will be moving on to regionals this weekend in Dalmeny. Unity will also be heading to regionals as well after going perfect in pool play with a 3-0 record. Kindersley was there as well, but was unable to come up with a victory in the tournament.
Regional tournaments are set to begin this weekend in the province and the winners and runners up of those tournaments will move on to provincials the weekend after.
