The month of June saw many foreign visitors visiting Canada. Canadian citizens, however, chose to stay at home.
The amount of visitors to the country saw a jump to a total of two million trips made in June. That is a 1.5 per cent increase according to Stats-Canada.
The number of trips by Canadian residents abroad declined by 1.1 per cent. This decline was mainly because fewer trips were made to the United States.
