The Kerrobert Courthouse Society not only is putting an old fashioned Christmas Party this Friday, they are also doing their Festival of Trees and Kids Event beginning this afternoon and heading into this evening.
Chairperson of the Courthouse Society Jackie McNichol talks about the event.
"We are putting on our Festival of Trees and we're having hot dogs and down by the rink free skating. Hay rides and our courtroom is all decorated with trees and donations are welcome."
The trees will be on display from 2:00 until 8:00 pm, and people can vote on their favorite Christmas tree, along with children getting some treat bags.
2019 Festival of Trees at Courtroom Gallery Public skating goes from 2:00-4:15 pm. The hay rides will go from 4:00-8:00 pm, the hot dogs will be available beside D’Lux Hardware from 4:00-5:30 PM courtesy of Tralapa, and the Courthouse will be lit up beginning at 6:00 pm.
Masks, proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID test are needed to enter the Courthouse.
