High school football in the West Central region is starting to wind down with playoffs beginning next week in 6 man 1A conference action. The Kerrobert Rebels won they their last regular season game on Friday night as the Macklin Sabres came to town. The Rebels won easily 64-8 to finish with an undefeated 6-0 record and will wait for the winner of the semi final game on Saturday.

 

That game will be in Eatonia as they will play Plenty at 1 pm. Eatonia won their game against Plenty 56-24 to end at 4-2 and host the semi final game against Plenty who finished at 2-4. Kerrobert is automatically qualified for the provincial playoffs in 1A conference action as the winner and runner up in the league final move on in the provincial bracket.

 

The Champion of 1A conference 2 plays the conference 3 runner up and the runner up in conference 2 plays the conference 3 champion starting during the week after October 26 with the provincial finals being held no later then the week of November 9.
