The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers were finally back home last night and were coming off three wins on their last road trip. The Klippers kept the momentum going as they beat the La Ronge Ice Wolves 5-1 to get their record back to 500 at 7-7-1.

Jacob Schnapp had 2 goals in the first period to lead the way for Kindersley. Caden Benson, Dawson McKenzie, and Austin Nault scored in the second period and that’s all the Klippers would need as they cruised to the victory. Kyle Bosch added 2 assists to bring his point total up to 17 in 15 games and Dawson McKenzie added an assist to his goal for 20 points in 14 games so far. Caden Benson added an assist and now has 5 points in 15 games. Zach Johnson continued his strong play with 32 saves in the win and has jumped his record to 4-6-1 after three straight wins for him in goal.

The Iron Horse Klippers are back on the ice this Friday when they play the first of two against the Flin Flon Bombers starting at 7:30 pm at the West Central Events Centre.
