The Kindersley Jr Klippers were recognized behind the bench, and behind the "C" looking at this years SJHL season award nominees.

Klippers bench boss Clayton Jardine is up for Coach of the Year, joining Mike Reagan of the Flin Flon Bombers, and Doug Johnson of the Melville Millionaires. Returning to the SJHL this season, Jardine has helped the Klippers rebound this season for a record of 23-24-5-2 with only two games remaining this season.

His captain Logan Linklater is also up for an award, SJHL Saskatchewan Player of the Year, going up against the Humboldt Broncos Spencer Bell, and Mathew Van Blaricom. Linklater has enjoyed a terrific season, leading the team in points with 56 in 49 games played, and top ten in the SJHL for assists with 40 on the season.

The team will have a little time to soak in the news. The Klippers won't be back in action until Friday March 15th and 16th when they play a doubleheader against the Battlefords to end the regular season.
