One death in relation to COVID-19 has been reported in Saskatchewan on Wednesday. 

There are 81 new positive cases with 61 recoveries.

One of the new cases are in the central-west zone, 31 of the new cases are in the south-east zone, Saskatoon has six, Regina has eight, central-east has eight, north-central has nine, southwest has three, the northwest has six, the far northeast has three, and the south-central and the far northwest have one.

Currently, there are 133 patients receiving care for COVID-19 in hospitals.

98 of those people are receiving inpatient care while 35 people are in the ICUs.

There are four residents receiving out-of-province ICU care in the hospital. These patients are not included in the hospitalization counts in the dashboard. 

There are 735 active COVID-19 cases throughout the province.

The 7-day new case average was 72.
