Volleyball in the West Central region is in full swing as the season is getting down to the playoffs at the end of the month for all teams in the area. The Rosetown junior A and B girls hosted a four team tournament on October 5 with the North West Central School grades 8-9 from Plenty winning it all. The Wildcats defeated the Loreburn Aztecs 25-10, 22-25, and 16-14 to win the final in three sets to take the tournament. Plenty was 3-0 in the round robin only dropping one set in the process. The Rosetown A team ended the round robin with a 1-2 record for third and lost to the second place Aztecs 25-21 and 25-10 in the semis. The B team finished in fourth spot to round out the teams in the tournament. The Wildcats continued their winning ways and returned to Rosetown last Thursday and once again defeated the Royals A team 2 sets to 1.

The Dinsmore Composite School junior girls will be hosting a tournament this Saturday, splitting into two teams. Kenaston and Lucky Lake are also expected to play as well. The Dinsmore junior girls made the playoff round at a recent tournament in Kyle before losing the semifinal to Eston. Sectional Playoffs are set for the 24th of October in Kyle and the district playoffs for October 26 with the location depending on sectional results.

The senior boys Rosetown Royals won three sets and lost two in Biggar last Wednesday and are set to host Dinsmore and Kindersley on the 21st and 23rd before going to Dinsmore for a tournament on October 26th.
