The local RCMP of Unity, Wilkie and Macklin had a full docket this week according to released reports.  

Unity RCMP Received reports of: 

  •  Fraud, this is still under investigation 
  • An individual damaging a vehicle, this is still under investigation 
  • A complaint of harassing communications, a verbal warning was issued 
  • An individual regarding a curfew condition 
  • A wellbeing check on request of Saskatoon Police 

Wilkie RCMP Responded to: 

  • A sexual assault, this is still under investigation 
  • An individual receiving harassing communications, the incident is being investigated 
  • An individual damaging vehicles, the matter is still under investigation 
  • An individual kicking a residence door, the subject was already gone before police arrived and there wasn’t enough evidence to proceed 
  • A child welfare concern 

The RCMP in Macklin attended: 

  • The sudden death of a 68-year-old male which was deemed not suspicious in nature  
  • A suspicious individual walking on the train tracks but the person of interest had already left the area when police arrived 
  • A fraud report which is still being investigated 

 

These and other crimes are currently under investigation. The detachments are asking individuals with more information to contact their respective RCMP or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
