A fan bus full of Saskatoon Blades fans hopped on the road to Red Deer Tuesday, but another show of support back on Monday was just a bit Biggar.

On their way to Red Deer, the Blades made a quick pit stop to meet some of their biggest fans, and perhaps make some new ones. Even though he's a fan favourite in these parts, Blades #18 and Rosetown Redwings product Vaughn Watterodt likely had to win over a few current Biggar Nationals.

Blades coach Brennan Sonne even joined in on the fun.

Judging by Facebook comments the school was already alerted to the bus passing through, but in no way did they expect it to stop. The players eagerly got off the bus to sign autographs, give fist bumps, and hype up the next generation of Blades fans.

The good vibes from Biggar must have carried across the provincial border for the team. On Tuesday night the Blades exploded offensively to win Game 3 against the Rebels 8-5, going up 3-0 in the second round series, with a chance to sweep Red Deer on Wednesday.

It's not everyday the WHL's top team makes an impromptu stop. Check out a few more photos shared by the Blades on social media in the photo gallery below.
