Damage from a windstorm
There's a flood of paperwork at SGI. Insurance claims are adding up quick after weeks of rain, strong wind and hail. More claims may be coming in after the brief but effective storm that swept through Rosetown last night bringing extreme wind, rain, and hail.
Since April there have been more than 3,000 property damage claims and the auto division has handled another 2,500.
The crown insurance agency calls this their biggest caseload in about a decade.
The estimated payout so far is around $74 million.
