The Kyle Elks defeated the Loreburn 19ers to get Sask Valley Hockey League action underway over the weekend, starting off an excellent nine game weekend slate.
The Eston Ramblers defeated the Dinsmore Dynamos on Friday night. The home crowd in Eston was treated to a game between undefeated teams and saw theirs come out victorious, putting the Ramblers in first place in the league.
Dinsmore would get back to their winning ways on Saturday, and a pair of Sunday afternoon games helped end the weekend.
