The Town of Kindersley held their regular Town Council meeting back on February 26. Regular council business took place on Monday, in addition to a few announcements involving town facilities and staff.

The biggest news saw Town Council appoint a pair of new Municipal Enforcement Officers within the Town of Kindersley. Effective immediately following the passing of the resolution, both Earl McLeod and Darien Lynch will now be considered peace officers for the purposes of bylaw enforcement within Kindersley, under "The Summary Offences Procedure Act, 1990".

An amended agenda then detailed the next notable piece of news. Council resolved to "direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into an Advertising Agreement and Naming Rights Agreement" for the local arena. The deal is with Inter Pipeline for the Events Centre Arena Surface.

The final two items of business as shared in the release saw Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts paid by the Town of Kindersley for $490,358.10, and also Council resolving to approve the consent agenda that included minutes for the Kindersley Museum and Kindersley Chamber, along with SaskWater's monthly report for acceptance and filing. The amended item on the agenda was a reserve transfer.

As shared on the Town of Kindersley website, Regular Meetings of Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month.
