The Rosetown Angels punched their ticket into the Championship final with a convincing 13-3 win over the Kindersley Klippers last night. The win completed the sweep for the Angels. The Kindersley Raiders have been patiently awaiting to see who they would face in the final after completing a sweep of their own in the semi-final versus the Beechy Breakers. The Raiders and Angels only did battle once this season as they resided in different divisions, with the Angels coming out on top in the early season match up, 8-1. The one and only contest between the two was played back on May 30th, the 2nd game of the year, so not a lot of stock can be put in that games result. 

The Championship Final will start in Rosetown on Wednesday, August 3rd. Game 2 will be played in Kindersley on Thursday, August 4th, and a game 5 if neccessary back in Rosetown on Friday, August 5th. 

These two teams are very familiar with one another despite the lack of regular season familiarity, these two powerhouses have seen in each other in the past three league finals. The Kindersley Raiders won last years final while the Rosetown Angels beat the Raiders the previous two years. This final should be tightly contested and almost deservingly pits the top two teams from the regular season against one another. The Rosetown Angels finished the year winning the tough Central Division and finished number 1 overall with a record of 8-1-1. The Kindersley Raiders finished the year winning the West Division and placing number 2 in the regular season standings with a record of 8-2.
