RM delegates from around the Province are in Saskatoon this week for the Annual Convention.

Ray Orb is President of the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities. 

He says they’ll talk about the lack of good, reliable internet service with the new Minister for Rural Development Minister Jordan.

The Federal Minister for Public Safety, Ralph Goodale is also expected to be in attendance noting they’ll likely talk about the RCMP.

Delegates will also have an opportunity to talk with Provincial officials with Premier Scott Moe in attendance as well as the Provincial Ministers for the Agriculture, Environment, Government Relations, Highways, Corrections and Policing portfolios.

RM representatives will also have a chance to discuss and vote on a number of resolutions from Stray Animals, to protection of the Rural Way of Life in the face of Changing Demographics, Health Care and more.
