It was a busy week for the Rosetown RCMP, as the two people who failed to appear in court this week were included along with the latest RCMP report from the detachment.
The calls for the week started on April 14 with a complaint of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 7 near Harris. There were no injuries, and it was reported for insurance purposes. Also included on the 14th was a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7. There was insufficient evidence to proceed. The busy 14th continued with a report of a break and enter to a business in Rosetown. The matter is still under investigation. And the day ended off with another complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 4. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
Moving onto April 15, Members received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 4. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
April 16 saw a report of a suspicious person in Rosetown. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and nothing further was required.
April 17th saw a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in Rosetown. Members attended and recovered a stolen vehicle.
Then a busy April 18th started off with a a complaint of an assault in Elrose. The matter is still under investigation. A complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7 was next. Members were unable to locate the vehicle. There was then a report of an abandoned vehicle at a rural location. The matter is still under investigation. Members then investigated a report of a break and enter to a residence in Zealandia. And finally, there was another a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7, this time Members located the vehicle and spoke to the driver.
April 19th started off with the investigation of the complaint of harassing communications in Elrose. A two vehicle collision was then noted in Rosetown. The matter is still under investigation. And wrapping up the day was the report of a vehicle fire on Highway 7 near Harris. The matter is still under investigation.
And April 20 saw a complaint of theft in Rosetown, which is still under investigation.
