The Kindersley Sr. Klippers hit the road for the second time in three days, as the team went to Hafford to take on the Hawks Sunday night. The game started off even, but an offensive explosion in the second period was the difference in the Sr. Klippers win Sunday night.

The first period saw the Sr. Klippers get on the board first on a nice individual effort by Kyle Donaldson. With the teams skating four on four, Donaldson dipsy doodled around Hawks defenseman Clay Casavant, and went upstairs on goaltender Joel Gryzbowski, to make the score 1-0 just over with 16:51 left in the first period. Hafford answered back with just over 13 minutes left in the first on a goal by Ryan Schaefer, to tie the score at 1. Both teams had chances to score in the period, but were denied by Luke Sproule for Kindersley and Gryzbowski for Hafford.

After 1: Sr. Klippers 1 - 1 Hawks 1 shots 13-9 Hafford

The second period is where the Sr. Klippers took over the game, and a total of six goals were scored in the period, five by Kindersley. The Sr. Klippers scored in the first minute of the period, as David Dziurzynski put one in with the assist going to Brody Ryberg. Then the Hawks answered back less than a minute later, as Scott Thomson put on in on a deflection, to tie it at two. Then Kindersley scored the next four goals in the game, as Darian Dziurzynski scored with 17:00 to regain the lead for the Sr. Klippers. Jessey Pocock, Troy Boisjoli and Darian Dziurzynski got his second to give Kindersley a four goal lead heading into period three. A total of four goals were scored by the two teams in the first 5:49 of the second period.

After 2: Sr. Klippers 6 - 2 Hawks shots 15-10 Sr. Klippers in the period, 24-23 Sr. Klippers overall

The third period saw the Sr. Klippers get into penalty trouble, as the team took five straight penalties in the period, and Hafford took advantage of two of them to get back in the game. The first goal was scored Curran Reeve, on a goal that Luke Sproule would like to have back right through the five hole from the point. This made the score 6-3 with 11:15 left in the third period. Then the lead was cut to two, as Scott Thomson got his second of the game, on short side shot over the blocker of Sproule on the powerplay once again. Kindersley regained its composure after this, and played penalty free hockey the rest of the way, and iced the game, as Darian Dziurzynski got this hat trick goal with 2:13 left to give the Sr. Klippers the three goal win.

FINAL: Sr. Klippers 7 - 4 Hawks shots 16-14 Hafford in the period, 39- 38 Hafford overall
