Although it didn't end how they would have hoped, the Rosetown Royals football team still finished their season on a winning note. The Royals defeated Wakaw 71-8 to claim the bronze medal during a home game behind Rosetown Central High School on Saturday.
Rosetown was undefeated heading into the playoffs, and advanced into the 2A semi-finals against Wakaw following their big quarter-final win at home against Shellbrook.
It was championship weekend around the province. Clavet would claim the 2A title with a 46-40 win over Watrous, and you can view the rest of this year's SHSAA provincial football results here.
