This weekend in Manor, Saskatchewan, the PBR Canada Touring Pro Division summer events continued on with another big win for a local bull rider.

According to PBR Canada's Kacie Albert, Dakota Buttar out of Eatonia inched closed to etching his name in the Canadian record books, as he attempts to become just the fourth multi-time Canadian Champion in history in 2022.

Buttar took home first spot at the Manor Fun Daze PBR, moving himself to third in the national standings, as the first round saw Buttar leave as one of four contenders to deliver a qualified ride. He rode Covering Night Blood for 82 points to finish just behind first spot headed into the second round, and then Buttar rode Bat Chute Crazy and stayed on for the requisite 8 seconds to end up clinching the win with an 82.5

The tour's next event is set for July 27 when the Touring Pro Division travels into North Battleford for the 7th Annual McDonalds PBR Classic.
