Have you lost cell phone service at all over the last couple of days?
A good number of cellular customers in at least the west central part of Saskatchewan were sent into SOS Mode, or Emergency Calls Only yesterday for a brief period of time, and then once again this morning the area's internet service seemingly dropped once again.
West Central Online reached out to SaskTel for an explanation, and this was their response.
"We are aware that Kindersley and some of the surrounding communities lost SaskTel services for a brief period of time yesterday and today. These brief outages were caused by a power issue at our central office in Kindersley. The issue has been resolved and we do not anticipate any further service impacts. We would like to take this opportunity to apologize to our customers for any inconvenience these brief outages may have caused for them."
