Ever wondered what the giant golf ball like structure near the Alberta border at Alsask is?

It's a piece of Canadian history, and Fred Armbruster with the Canadian Civil Defence Museum will be back on scene conducting tours for anyone interested once this May long weekend.

The tours have been taking place for a few years now since the CCDM took over the property, allowing interested individuals a chance to actually walk inside and learn more first-hand about the piece of cold war history in an informative experience.

The first tour of 2023 will be on Sunday, May 21, at both 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. They ask you arrive 15 mins before your tour and to wear closed toe shoes.

Pre-register by messaging them through the Canadian Civil Defence Museum And Archives Facebook Page, or by email at info@civildefence.ca.

Entry is by a donation of your choice.
