The annual Cliff Adelman Invitational Volleyball Tournament is back for the 3rd year with games kicking off Tomorrow Morning.

The tournament was announced the year Cliff Adelman retired, he says it's a blessing and a surprise to have a tournament named after him.

" I'd rather not have the lime light, but it's an honor. I didn't have anything to do with it, they (LCBI) announced it at our awards night my last year there"

Jennifer Ridgewell, head coach of the LCBI Lady Bisons introduced the teams that will be taking part, they are:

    1- Outlook High School
    2- Wakaw
    3- Unity
    4- LCBI Lady Bisons
    5- Clavet
    6- RJC
    7 - Biggar
8 - Harvest City from Regina

Wakaw won the tournament last year while the Lady Bisons won it the year before that.

Ridgewell expects strong competition and looks forward to the weekend. She adds it wouldn't surprise her if teams coming this weekend advanced and won a medal in SHSAA Provincial Playoffs, which kicks off next weekend.

The tournaments first serve is Friday at 8AM with games concluding on Saturday.
