The calls to service for the Unity, Macklin and Wilkie RCMP detachments from April 26 to May 2 included a complaint of an individual damaging property at a residence in Wilkie.  This matter is still under investigation. There was also a complaint of a break and enter at a rural outbuilding in the Wilkie area.  This matter is still under investigation. Read the full Unity, Macklin and Wilkie RCMP report below:

UNITY REPORTS 

  • RCMP received a complaint of shoplifting.  This matter is still under investigation. 

  • Police received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer.  There were no injuries.  Reported for insurance purposes. 

  • Members received a complaint of disturbing the peace but the subject of complaint was gone on arrival.  This matter is still under investigation. 

  • RCMP received a report of an individual damaging a vehicle.  Reported for insurance purposes. 

  • Police received a complaint of an individual tampering with vehicle tires.  There are no suspects at this time. 

  • CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction near Tramping Lake.  Reported for information purposes. 

  • Members assisted Child and Family Services with a child welfare concern. 

  • There were also three false 911 calls and four traffic complaints. 

WILKIE REPORTS 

  • A 56-year-old male from North Battleford was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Prohibited after Members received a traffic complaint. 

  • RCMP acted as mediators in a family disagreement. 

  • CN Police reported a railway malfunction near Wilkie.  Reported for information purposes. 

  • Police received a report of a horse on Highway 29 north of Wilkie.  Members patrolled but could not locate the animal. 

  • RCMP received a complaint of an individual damaging property at a residence.  This matter is still under investigation. 

  • Members conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family member. 

  • CN Police reported a railway malfunction near Tramping Lake.  Reported for information purposes. 

  • RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at a rural outbuilding.  This matter is still under investigation. 

  • There was also one traffic complaint and one false alarm. 

MACKLIN REPORT 

  • RCMP received a complaint of trespassing but there was insufficient evidence to proceed. 

  • Police received two complaints of an intoxicated individual walking down the street in Macklin.  Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.
