It was a lucky day for the Kindersley Komets on Saturday. 

The novice hockey team won their game against team Dodsland 20-3 on Saturday morning.

The Kindersley Komets then went on to defeat Rosetown at the SaskCan Centre 15-8.

Aidan Torry, Austin Shaefer and Nixon Gasmo scored the most goals, with Kale Sackville guarding the net.

The Rosetown Curling Bonspiel is underway at the SaskCan Centre in Rosetown.

Teams from all over town are taking the opportunity to show off their finest sweeping skills; the final draws are this afternoon.

The West Central Saskatchewan Oilmen's Bonspiel is going on this weekend at the West Central Events Centre in Kindersley.

18 teams are participating this year with the Final draws on Sunday.

In the Sask Valley Hockey League, The Dinsmore Dynamoes won the game against the Eston Ramblers 8-2 on Saturday.

A $500 pot of gold jackpot was drawn for, and a player shootout and wings followed the game, amounting to an excellent time to be had by all.

The Kyle Elks came out victorious in the game played against the Central Butte Flyers.  

The Flyers hosted the game last night and lost to the Elks 5-3.  

The Elks now boast a 5 game winning streak.

The Kenaston Blizzard hosted the Elrose Aces last night and won their game with a close score of 4-3.

The Loreburn 19ers are off to face the Eston Ramblers this afternoon.  

The Ramblers currently hold a record of 7-9; the puck drops at 4pm sharp.

And in the Sask West Hockey League, the Biggar Nationals won their game against the Unity Miners 11-6.

The Biggar Nationals are on a 4 win streak and now hold a record of 11-6.
