For the first time in three years, the Elrose Monet Recreation Board held a live auction event over the weekend.

An amazing $197,535.43 was raised from the live auction, including food and drinks, with the proceeds going to the cost of renovations to the Elrose Uniplex.

The Uniplex contains an indoor swimming pool and hockey area with ball diamonds in the general area as well.  Money is going to be put towards the Elrose Swimming Pool too.

Kaylie Ellis, who ran the auction as a volunteer, was thrilled with the turnout, and the reception of the event was very positive for all who attended.
