Once again Eston Composite School took part in the Drive Away Hunger Campaign.

The students and local residents in Eston gathered 2859.4 pounds of food to donate to the Food Bank in Kindersley.

The amount of people served by the Kindersley Food Bank has doubled in the last three years. 165 people were helped by the Kindersley Food Bank last month. Over 60 of those people are from Eston, and almost half of them are children.

Sherry Brewer has been a teacher at Eston Composite School for 25 years and West Central Online spoke with Brewer about some incentives the school had for the students during this year’s campaign.
