The Farm and Ranch Water Infrastructure program is now available province-wide, after being available for southwest Rural Municipalities for the past year.

SARM President David Marit says they have received many requests to expand the program over the past year, and are now able to thanks to a large government investment.

The programs assists farmers suffering from water shortages get help with installing wells, pipelines and dugouts, with the government providing half of the cost.

Farmers in the program will have half of their project's costs covered by the provincial and federal governments.
