With about half of the season in the books, teams are jockeying for position to qualify for this year's playoffs. So far so good for the Rosetown Angels who lead the league with a 5-0 record, followed by the Kindersley Klippers at 4-1-1. Ryan Wickett, player and manager of the Rosetown Angels told West Central Online that playoffs are being pushed back to accommodate all the rain that's fallen on West Central Saskatchewan. The semi final round of the playoffs, which is a best of 3 series, will now take place in the third week of July, with the finals slated to take place the following week. Ryan also told West Central Online there has been some good crowds taking in Fertile Valley Baseball league action and he knows the players definitely appreciate the support.
