The Kindersley fire department kicked off fire prevention week on Saturday with a Barbeque at the Canadian Tire. Local students received a visit from town firefighters who emphasised the need for all children have an up-to-date fire escape plan for their school and homes.  The session also took time to clearly define the role that the department plays in Kindersley.
