U13

The U13 West Central AA Wheat Kings had one game this past weekend, but were supposed to have two, as one had to be postponed against Melfort. The Wheat Kings played the North West Stars Sunday in Eston and fell 7-3. Scoring for West Central was Graydon Neumeier, Max Douglas and Taylor Neumeier. Graydon Neumeier also added two assists, and Max Douglas had one helper as well. Kaine Thiessen got two assists to wrap up the scoring for the Wheat Kings. 

The U13 Wheat Kings are currently in fifth in the Centre Four Division, with a 7-10-1 record. Leading the way for the Wheat Kings offensively is the trio of Taylor Neumeier, who has 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points in 18 games played. Second is Max Douglas who has 16 goals and 14 assists for 30 points in 18 games played. Rounding up the trio is Graydon Neumeier, who has 16 goals and 10 assists for 26 points in 13 games played. Kayne Thiessen is fourth on the team with 7 goals and 16 assists for 23 points in 18 games played. 

Next action for the Wheat Kings is a home matchup with the U13 Humboldt AA Broncos in Unity at 2:00 pm Saturday. They will also host another home game in Kerrobert on Sunday at 2:00 pm against Warman.

U15

The U15 West Central Wheat Kings had a pair of games this past weekend and were unfortunately unable to come out with a win. Both games were played in Eston, with Saturday night's matchup a 5-3 loss for the Wheat Kings against the Saskatoon Bandits. Keegan Nash, Austin Schafer and Aiden Torry scored for West Central in the loss. Sunday did not fair any better for the U15 Wheat Kings, as they fell to the Prairie Storm 5-0. 

Leading the way for the Wheat Kings on the scoresheet is Cam Perlinger who has 21 goals and 22 assists for 43 points in 17 games played. Right behind is Cobe Perlinger who has 18 goals and 24 assists for 42 points in 17 games played. In third is Austin Schafer who has compiled 5 goals and 10 assists for 15 points in 17 games played.

Next action for the U15 AA Wheat Kings is the first of a three game road trip beginning in Saskatoon Friday against the Bandits once again at 8:30 pm. Saturday sees team head up to Prince Albert to play the Pirates at 2:45 pm. Then the road trip ends Sunday with a date with Warman at 3:30 pm at the neutral site of Waldheim.

West Central currently has a 7-6-4 record, which is second last in the North Division.

U18

The U18 AA Wheat Kings had one game this past week, as they headed to Martensville to take on the AA Marauders on Monday night. Ben Walz got two in the matchup, including the game winner late in the second and West Central held on for the 4-3 victory. Also scoring on Monday night was Spencer Krieger and Kaden Veller. 

Leading the team in scoring continues to be Hunter Sperle, who has 23 goals and 13 assists for 36 points in 25 games played. Sitting right behind Sperle is Landyn Nash, who has 18 goals and 16 assists for 34 points in 25 games played. And in third is captain Leighton Partington, who has 14 goals and 19 assists for 33 points in 24 games played.

West Central is currently in fifth place in the Centre Four Division with a 14-10-2 record. 

Next action for the U18 AA Wheat Kings is not until January 23 against the North West Stars in North Battleford at 5:15 pm.
