Some more great female hockey news has come out of the Rosetown region.
On Saturday morning it was announced that another local female hockey player in AAA Swift Current Wildcats forward Calla Kampen has committed to attend school and play hockey at Lakeland College with the Rustlers.
Spending the previous two years with Prince Albert, the Fiske native Kampen has nine goals and 17 points in her first season in Swift Current.
Kampen and other recent commit to Lakeland College Ella Wingert from Rosetown will now be playing together next season, a team that already features another West Central native and former Wildcat in Laiken Swan.
