August has been busy as usual for the Prairie Branches team. Aside from receiving a special monetary donation from the Murch family, and seeking out more staff, they have been keeping extra busy with their programming.
The assisted-living facility tries to get their clients out of the group-homes as much as possible, and the month of August was a perfect example of the littany of opportunities available right here in west-central Saskatchewan and across the province.
They spent some time around Luseland on August 8. Outside of some splashing at the local pool, they went around town to see some of the local beauty Luseland has to offer.

One the residents from Kerrobert, Joe, was on-hand at the local Farmers Market to share everything Prairie Branches has to offer from a first-hand perspective.
After the first few weeks of fun around home, they took a trip to Regina that included a visit to the science centre.
The trip to the provincial capital closed with a Saskatchewan Roughriders game as the clients donned their green and white all the way to a win against the BC Lions back on August 20th at Mosaic Stadium.
They also visited Macklin Lake, toured the Battlefords, and visited the Saskatoon Ex!
You can keep up with their busier than ever August through the Prairie Branches Facebook page.
Perhaps they have something fun planned for the final day of August 2023, but the team at the Prairie Branches is likely shifting their focus to September as fall activities should be on the agenda for the next 30 days.
