The Rivers West District for Sport, Culture and Recreation is hosting a "Friends around the table" gathering at the Don Ross Center in North Battleford on June 22nd. Bonnie Mills Midgley, community development cooridinator with Rivers West told West Central Online the meeting used to be called a recreation partisioners meeting, which they felt left some people excluded from attending. The meeting is open to anyone and everyone whether they are involved in government, town council, recreation departments or the like. She said so far there are approximately 35 people slated to attend. She also stated that anyone who missed the registration deadline will be able to go just give her a call at (306) 344 7473 or email her at rwdscr.lloyd@sasktel.net
