West-central Saskatchewan's Brielle Minish is set to play collegiate women's hockey following her final season of play with the Saskatoon Stars AAA team.
(Photo via StoonStarsAAA on X/Twitter)The Stars shared last week that the Herschel born skater would be playing for the Mount Royal University Cougars in 2024-25. The Cougars play at the USPORTS level and are coming off a national championship in 2022-23.
In two seasons with the Stars playing defense, Minish has collected 17 points in 57 games played. Minish came on strong during the 2022 postseason picking up 8 points across a tight seven-game-series.
The Stars wished Minish and her family congratulations through social media, as their third year star player will be pursuing a career in Education.
