The iKids Summer Camp running at the Kindersley Christian Fellowship has been a great way to get kids out of the house over the past month.
Chantal Palynchuk is the iKids Camp Director and shared what the theme was for the final week.
"Our theme this week is sports!" said the lead organizer. "We are doing a bunch of water-play activities. We are doing sport activities in the gym, as well as a bunch of other team cooperation games. It's lots of fun."
Palynchuk says there are still spaces open for any parents interested in one more activity for their kids before the end of summer.
"We have a few spots available. It's $35 for the full day, and you can just call me at 306-430-8222."
Other themes this month included Chef Week, Superhero Week, and the first week was centered around Dr. Seuss.
"All things imaginative. Lots of painting, lots of crafts, and that week was very full." recalled Palynchuk. "Our program is all about cooperative play. We encourage lots of teamwork, and really promote the values of respect and cooperation in our program."
iKids is a popular program that runs most Friday night's throughout the year. Like the summer camp, they hold events all year-round that people can commit to for some extra iKids fun.
