The Kindersley Jr. Klippers have made a roster move ahead of their return to the rink in just a few weeks.
The team announced Wednesday that 2004 forward Zakery Anderson signed his commitment to play in Kindersley, as the Klippers did their best to welcome the new player and the entire Anderson family to the west-central community.
Anderson grew up in Kamloops where he played for the KIJHL's Kamloops Storm in 2021-22, putting up 40 points in 40 games and earning himself three games in the BCHL with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. That stint helped parlay into a full season of BCHL hockey in 2022-23 with the Victoria Grizzlies, as Anderson scored one goal and had four points overall in 34 games as a rookie.
Anderson will be getting ready for fall camp being held September 1 to 3 at the West Central Events Centre. The Klippers begin the SJHL preseason on September 8 against the Humboldt Broncos.
