After it seems that the neutral site game tonight in Prince Albert against Flin Flon has been canceled, the Kindersley Jr. Klippers very early season slate will continue on Sunday night at the West Central Events Centre with a game against the Wisconsin Lumberjacks.

First off though during their off day yesterday, they had some news to announce.

"(We) are excited to announce the signing of forward Brock Evans. Brock was the 3rd overall selection in the 2022 SJHL draft," the team said through a release, "from Warman, he played last season with the U18AAA Wildcats collecting 13 pts in 40 games played to go along with 36 PIM. He has some ties to the area as his dad is played his minor hockey right here in Kindersley, growing up in Smiley."

Klippers Head Coach and General Manager Ken Plaquin also shared his thoughts on the signing.

“Brock is a kid we have been very impressed with watching him over the last couple of years. He is a skilled forward who competes hard and is well liked in the room. He came in and had a fantastic spring camp and earned his spot on the team with an equally impressive main camp,” GM/Head coach Ken Plaquin said.

As mentioned the Klippers are back on the ice Sunday for a special matchup, and then they fire up the pre-season for real against Battleford starting on Tuesday.
