The Kindersley Jr. Klippers announced the acquisition 2003 born born forward Ethan Scriven from the Battlefords North Stars on Friday.

The Warman native will immediately add toughness to the lineup, as he 102 PIM last year for the North Stars, to go along with 15 points in 42 games played.

The team also commemorated Truth & Reconciliation Day with a special practice held at the WCEC Friday morning.

Kindersley's next games will be on the road in the Flin Flon on September 7 and 8, and Country 104 will have the call each day, starting at 6:15 Saskatchewan time with the pregame show.
