Kindersley Composite School; Kerrobert Composite School.

Both dub themselves KCS, and the two schools met up this past Saturday for an afternoon matinee. Maybe a good old-fashioned game of football is what helped decide which school earns the moniker for their place of learning the rest of this school year.

It was a large crowd for the Saturday matinee between the Kobras and Rebels, as fans were treated to an exciting and out of character game of 6 man football as the Rebels took a 29-8 win in the stingy affair. The Kobras struggled to move the ball at times but did show some promise on offense, though some timely defense from the Rebels stopped any chance of the Kobras tightening the gap as the Rebels slowly pulled away all game.

Other games from this past week saw Rosetown defeat Outlook 58-22 on the road, and Plenty take down Biggar 48-19 at home in Conference 6 action. Outlook will host Clavet in the conferences lone game this week. Looking at Conference 7, Kerrobert’s win kept them undefeated to keep pace with Unity at 3 wins, and Macklin dropped Eatonia 43-8 as the Spartan's remain winless on the year.

The crowd in Kindersley was treated to a rare low scoring game, and you can view some pictures from the action below:
