The Kindersley Kobras took over first place in Conference 7 on the weekend, after they beat the Kerrobert Rebels 43-37 on the road under the lights at the Kerrobert Composite School field on Friday.

The exciting win avenged a tough offensive performance back when the Kobras dropped a 29-8 decision in September, and it was carried in large part thanks to big performances from Kobras offensive stars Levi Krahn and Brandon Miller.

The Kobras defense provided a late interception between scores from Krahn and Miller to go up in the game, and a missed two point conversion late certainly made for some end of the game antics.

With the victory, Kindersley now sits in 1st place in Conference 7 with the tiebreaker over Kerrobert. The Kobras will be in Eatonia this week to finish their season off, while Kerrobert takes on Unity in what could be a very important game standings wise in Kerrobert.
