Rosetown and Kyle RCMP had quite the variety of calls:

  • Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 4. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.  

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 15. Members located a truck stuck in the ditch near Sovereign. The matter is still under investigation.  

  • Rosetown RCMP acted as mediators in a family dispute in Rosetown.  

  • Rosetown RCMP acted as mediators in a family dispute in Rosetown.  

  • Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an assault in Rosetown. Members attended - complainant requested no further action be taken.  

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Members located the vehicle and spoke to the driver.  

  • Rosetown RCMP are investigating theft of fuel from a rural farm location.

  • Kyle RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 7. There were no injuries - reported for insurance purposes.   

  • Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of disturbing the peace in Rosetown. The matter is still under investigation.  

There were 37 Traffic related charges issued, 3 911 mis-dial calls and 1 false alarm call '

 

Included in the report and given its own media release, Kyle RCMP are investigating theft of a hedge trimmer from an outbuilding in Zealandia.

On Sunday, June 9, 2024 or, Monday, June 10, 2024, between 9:30 pm and 11:30 pm is believed when the theft occurred.  

A yellow electric hedge trimmer was taken.

Two suspicious vehicles were seen in/near the community at that time:

1) an early 2000s white truck, with black headache rack and a yellow light on top, and very loud, with two males in the vehicle.

2) a dark colored SUV/hatchback, male driver and female passenger - may not have rear lights.
