After the original date at the start of October was moved thanks to then present issues, the “Lil Black Dress” Ladies Night Out event in Kindersley was a resounding success during its makeup date.

The event saw all proceeds go towards a hospital equipment fund through the Kindersley and District Health and Wellness Foundation, and attendees had a great time while supporting the special cause. The November 6th spectacular went according to schedule despite the postponed date, as hopefully nobody was forced to miss out on the special event that was originally set for October 2nd.

Numerous sponsors to go along with 59 raffle items and tons of silent auction items helped set the tone for the excellent fundraising that the night was meant for. One local company also sponsored a 50/50 with a guaranteed $1000.

Candy Gordon was one of the event organizers, and had this to say about the special time.

“The event this past Saturday was a huge success,” said Gordon, “We couldn't be happier with the turn out. Thank you to all who sponsored, volunteered and came out in support. We will follow up with a donation total when we have final numbers.”

You can expect the totals from the recent event, that got ladies in Kindersley out for a good time, and an even better cause.
