The latest Kindersley E-Update is in and at the forefront of it is the Norman Ritchie Community Centre receiving some TLC with some renovations to the stage and doors. The Town of Kindersley is also partnering with Pathway to Wellness for three adult swimming nights in November. They will be held November 16, 23 and 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. 5.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley agreed to amend the agenda of the October 23, 2023, Regular Meeting of Council to remove:
- Item 7.3 – WCEC Refrigeration Tender
7.2: Council resolved to declare the service level for the Kindersley Fire Department as a Full-Operations Service Level.
7.4: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to accept as presented the List of Lands with Arrears of Taxes as of October 2023; and that any property on the List of Lands with Arrears of Taxes as of October 2023 with an amount owing of less than half of the immediately preceding year’s tax levy be omitted from said list before further processing.
8.1: Town Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $537,061.73.
9.1: Three readings of Bylaw 04-23 Being a Bylaw to Establish, Maintain, and Operate a Fire Department were approved.
9.2: Three readings of Bylaw 05-23 Being a Bylaw to Enter Into Mutual Aid Agreements with Surrounding Municipalities were approved.
10.1: Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which included the following items for acceptance and filing:
