At least two chances to obtain some curling skills are being presented around West Central beginning this week.

Biggar's Curling Club had their youth 'Learn to Curl' event start up yesterday, that will run every Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:00 pm with no sign up required. Anyone interested can sign up for $5 a class, or $20 for 5 classes, as these fees will go directly to the Curling Club.

Barber was so happy to be back out, and so were the young avid curlers, as she heard one curler say, "Mom! That was awesome!" and another, "Mom! I didn't like it. I loved it!"

As for youth curling for the Kindersley Curling Club, they are excited to be offering similar classes free of charge thanks to their sponsor in the West Central Saskatchewan Oilmen’s Association.

Jacquie Armitage with the club reached out to share more about this program for children and youth ages 9 - 18, where all skill levels are welcome. The program is offered Wednesdays at 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm and starts tomorrow, November 16th.
