Madison native Kyle Wiebe was competing at Algonquin Golf Resort in St. Andrews, N.B. this week, taking part in the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship.
Wiebe's tournament ended early after he did not make the cut. Things started out well in Round 1 as Wiebe shot an impressive 70, leaving himself tied for fifth place. Round 2 wasn't nearly as good for Wiebe as he was 17 strokes over his day one round in carding an 87 in Round 2.
