The Saskatchewan Music Festival Association held their 2022 provincial finals earlier this month at the University of Saskatchewan.

District winners were invited to play for each other while also competing for the provincial title on June 2nd to the 5th.

The four full days of music including piano, strings, brass and woodwind, voice, musical theatres and speech arts. 

Winners

• Temidire Igbekoyi, grade 7 student, Rosetown Cenyral High School
  • Dr. Thomas Yu Piano Recital Scholarship. (for 14 & under)
    • His first time playing at provincials, and competed against Regina & Saskatoon players.

  • runner-up award for Dianne Grebe Piano Recital Scholarship. (for 12 & under)
    • competed against 12 representatives from all over Saskatchewan.
    • first time representing Rosetown at Provincials.
