With the start of the long weekend, highways are expected to be busy, when conditions allow.

Here in the West Central area, conditions are varied. Closer to the Alberta border, and in the Kindersley area, the highways were reporting seasonal driving conditions this morning. Things change, though, when going to the east and south.

In the Rosetown area, Highway 7 is reporting icy or slippery sections, as well as loose and swirling snow. Similar conditions are being reported on Highway 4 up to Biggar and beyond, and south down all the way to Swift Current.

Highway 14 from Wilkie to Biggar also has reports of icy or slippery sections and loose and swirling snow.
