In some great news out of the Western Hockey League, a West Central born forward was selected third overall during yesterdays annual WHL Prospects Draft.
Cole Reschny from Macklin was selected number three by the Victoria Royals, as the centreman played his draft year with the Northern Alberta Xtreme U15 Prep program, collecting a whopping 40 goals and 52 assists for 92 points over 25 games played with the team. Reschny would also step up to the U16 team for regular season and playoff games this past season.
Couldn’t be more excited to be drafted to such a great organization like the @victoriaroyals. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me achieve this. Excited to get started! https://t.co/PrRirMTXXu
